The QE2

The Queen Elizabeth 2nd or QE2 is at the moment sailing her last Cruise. After this last sail the QE2 is destined to become a hotel and shopping venue at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
Launched by the Queen in 1967, the QE2 has a colourful history carrying over 2.5 million passengers and completing 25 world cruises and more than 800 transatlantic crossings since her maiden voyage in 1969. She also served as a troop ship in the Falklands war in 1982.

Anyhoo,,,the ship docked in our home town, Greenock on Saturday 4th October and here are some pic's of the ship and an unusually sunny day in Greenock :D:D

About Me

My photo
Married on 6th December 2006 aboard the Sea Princess just off the coast of Jamaica. We had a beautiful wedding ceremony performed by the Captain of the amazing Sea Princess Cruise Liner. On our return home we had a Reception for family and friends on 6th January 2007. After our Marriage we decided to take a few years out and moved to Florida USA. After a year of work and beautiful weather we found out we were expecting a little bundle of joy and decided to move back home to Scotland to be around family and friends. We are now settled back in our home town to start our family. We are expecting a baby girl on 12th November 2008.
